Sorry for the lack of updates weve had a really busy season racing and fixing the car!!
Its been a real up and down season. We missed out on opening night, got rolled in the second meeting and teams raced for the next two months around the country in Palmy, Christchurch and Wellington!!! Came back to Nelson for the South Island Champs and was going good until the engine expired. That put a downer for mid season because we were going to be heading off to the New Zealand Champs the next week. We ended up having six weeks off while the engine got overhauled. Then we were straight back into racing in Palmerston North for teams champs! Then 3 weeks later we headed up to Auckland for teams nationals. It was a good month racing we finished 2nd in Auckland and 8th in Palmy. On the 28th March we went to Christchurch for the Battle of the Stocks which ended up being a great meeting! Me and my team mate ended up winning the Championship!! It was a great acheivement for me as I've been going for 12 years and to finally get the big trophy!! The following week we were back in Nelson for Open Club Champs. It was going good until I caught up with lap traffic and hit a spinning car which put me back in the pack and finished 3rd over all. Its the end of the season now so time to pull the car apart!!
